- Fish Tank Added August 05, 2023★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Our room was NOTHING like the photos on the website. Almost everything was broken...the dining table & chairs, bedside lamp, shower screen, rusty hand rails etc.
The room needed a good clean, there was so much dust built up on everything. The exhaust fan in the bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned in the past year.
It's a shame because the staff are friendly and the location is amazing & central to everything but we wouldn't stay here again. Our kids especially were disappointed in the condition of our room, since it was our first family holiday & nothing like the photos on the website. - R G Added August 01, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Cheap and cheerful, the motel is located in the centre of town and is only 5-10mins walk to the heart of Mt Gambier. The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for luxury, look again, but if you are just looking for a place to rest after a day exploring and don't mind retro vibes and furnishings, this is for you.
- Tom G Added July 24, 2023★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Room was clean and spacious. The heater didn't work properly so it was cold. The shower didn't have a screen so water sprayed all over the floor. It was a great location right in the centre of town. Food was within walking distance.
- Chantelle Barnett Added July 18, 2023★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Honestly for a budget room it's incredibly clean, the room didn't have a funky odour, I couldn't fault the shower pressure and the bed was surprisingly soft and comfortable. The location is within walking distance of everything in central town.

Like most older motels the room was a little dated, but was nevertheless well maintained. For the price there is nothing to complain about. We had a good night’s sleep and the reverse cycle air con was an added bonus for a cold night.
